Phoebe Frances Brown was an actress, writer and performer from Nottingham. As well as writing and performing her one-woman show The Glad Game, she was in Small Island at the National Theatre Directed by then Artistic Director Rufus Norris, and wrote and performed in her own short film for BBC New Creatives called Hung Out To Dry. She was a founder member of comedy troupe Major Labia.

She was born in 1992, and grew up in Nottingham, found a place to develop her skills as a performer at The Television Workshop. She went onto study theatre at the University of Birmingham.

As an actor she was represented by Curtis Brown and as a writer by Knight Hall Agency.

In 2018, Phoebe received the devastating news that she had an incurable brain tumour in the part of her brain that controls speech, language and memory.  Phoebe passed away in April 2022 and is missed and loved by many.
